I Always, Always Need More Books For My Classroom Library. If You Would Like To Donate Any, Please See My Recommended List of YA Books. I Am Always In Need of As Many of These Books As Possible.
Welcome to my website. My hope is that English teachers will find it a valuable resource, as they plan lessons, search for books for their students and find new ways to grow as a teacher.
A little bit about me. I grew up in Forest Hills, NY. I have been teaching English Language Arts for the past fifteen years in Los Angeles and have recently renewed my National Board Certification. I also have a background in writing, as I received my Masters of Fine Arts in playwrighting, from USC. Last year I finished my first novel, and so far no one is interested in publishing it. If you are an editor at a major publishing firm, looking for the next great young adult author, feel free to contact me.
I also possess a second masters degree in school administration, and maybe someday I will pass over to the dark side. Over the years I have discovered that the only way I can get kids to love reading is to read a lot of young adult fiction and then put ones I know are good into the students hands. I hope to continue working on this site and offer more and more content that helps English teachers in their journey.
I am very happily married and a father to two amazing little people.
